Terms of Service

These Terms are an agreement between you and [Company legal name] (“we”, “us”), which runs The Learnin’ Guru. By creating an account you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Who can use The Learnin’ Guru

The Learnin’ Guru is for adults aged 18 and over. By signing up you confirm you are at least 18. Keep your password safe; you are responsible for what happens under your account.

2. What the service does

The Learnin’ Guru helps you prepare for exams. It gives practice questions, flashcards, diagrams, quizzes and practice exams, measures how well you score after each way of studying, and plans your study around the results. It is a study aid. It does not guarantee any exam result, and it is not affiliated with or endorsed by any exam body unless we say so.

3. Content written with AI

Much of the study material is drafted by an AI model from source material and cites the page it came from. AI can make mistakes. Check anything important against the cited source, and use “Flag a problem” when something looks wrong. Flagged items can be hidden while we look at them.

4. Your uploads

• You may upload material only if you own it or have the right to use it this way. You confirm this with the rights box each time you upload.
• Your uploads stay private to you. We never show them to other learners.
• You keep ownership of your uploads. You give us permission to store and process them, including with our AI provider, only to provide the service to you.
• You can delete an upload at any time. It can be restored for 30 days, and is then permanently deleted.

5. Copyright complaints

If you believe material on The Learnin’ Guru infringes your copyright, email [copyright agent email address] with the work, where it appears, your contact details and a statement that you are the owner or authorised to act for them. We will review it and remove material where appropriate.

6. Plans and payment

• The free plan includes one upload, studying from it, and the diagnostic quiz.
• The monthly plan renews automatically each month at the price shown when you buy it, until you cancel. You can cancel any time on the Billing page; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
• The exam pass is a single payment for a fixed number of days, shown when you buy it. It does not renew.
• Payments are handled by Square. We do not see or store your full card number.

• If we change a price, we will tell you before it applies to your next renewal.

7. Fair use

Do not:

• share your account, or resell or copy the study material in bulk;
• upload anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to use;
• try to break, overload, scrape or get around the security of the service.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

8. Closing your account

You can close your account in Settings. We cancel any subscription and sign you out. Signing in within 30 days restores it; after that your account and everything in it is permanently deleted, as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Our responsibility

We work to keep The Learnin’ Guru accurate and available, but we provide it “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for exam results, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

10. Changes to these Terms

If we change these Terms in a meaningful way, we will tell you by email before the change takes effect. If you do not agree, you can close your account before then.
